What is a fiduciary financial advisor? A fiduciary advisor is legally obligated to act in your best interest. At Consilium, 100% of the time, we operate as a co-fiduciary—independent and fee-only—ensuring objective, conflict-free advice.

Is Consilium, LLC affiliated with any other firm? No. Consilium, LLC is fully independent and not affiliated with any financial advisory, bank, brokerage, administrative, or other institution. We believe this independence matters: our clients work directly with the decision-makers, not with sales reps pushing a prepackaged strategy from corporate headquarters.

Do you receive compensation for products or strategies you recommend? No, Consilium, LLC has never received any type of compensation from any party other than our clientele. 100% of our revenue comes from clientele.

What is your investment philosophy? Consilium LLC’s approach to discretionary asset management and plan consulting is rooted in financial academia and based on the principles that most public markets are efficient, which translates into asset & sub-asset allocation being the key determinants of portfolio risk and return. The alternative/private markets are decidedly different, which is where manager selection is paramount. This process is dedicated to an institutional approach to asset management with a commitment to low costs.

What does a financial concierge do? Our financial concierge service simplifies complex private investments by managing due diligence, document fulfillment, capital calls, custodial services, and more—without the need for ongoing advisory fees.

Can you help manage retirement (e.g. 401(k)’s) or pension plans? Yes. Our Plan Consulting services help businesses and other organizations benchmark plans, manage vendors, and optimize investment line-ups to reduce costs and improve participant outcomes.
